I cannot express how much respect I have for hill climb at Pikes Peak. It's just raw man and machine. No only do you need to plan for changes in terrain, you also need to watch out for the weather. What other race in the world do you encounter heat, rain, and snow all within 10mins?...and without making any changes to your setup?? Its the driver behind the wheel that constantly adapts to the changing conditions, pure skill.
